Untar hosted the iNews Campus Connect (ICC) 2025 event, which took place over two days, 26–27 November 2025, at the Auditorium of the Main Building, Untar Campus I. The program featured a series of educational sessions relevant to students and the wider public and was broadcast in a hybrid format through the Official iNews YouTube channel.

The event was attended by the leadership of iNews Media Group (IMG), Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., university officials, and Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board Prof. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. Students from various faculties also filled the auditorium, including participants from several other universities.

In her remarks, Angela Tanoesoedibjo stated that ICC is a national program that has been held at various universities across Indonesia, and on this occasion, Untar was selected as one of its hosting partners.

Angela also expressed her appreciation for Untar, which she considered highly adaptive to current developments. “Untar’s willingness to host this event shows that the university is always open and provides opportunities for students to understand what is happening in the real industry,” she added.

Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., viewed the ICC program as a positive collaboration between Untar and iNews Media Group, particularly in providing education for students and the Untar academic community on digitalization. “With the implementation of this event, I believe that the entire series of programs and discussions will provide broad benefits not only for Untar but also for all audiences,” he concluded.

On the first day, ICC presented a session titled “CreatorVerse: Create with Impact,” moderated by iNews presenter Camar Haenda. The session featured three main speakers: CEO of iNews Media Group Angela Tanoesoedibjo, YouTube Strategic Partner Manager Isabella Wibowo, and Gen Z content creator Rian Fahardhi. Under the theme “Be The News Creator: Beyond Viral & Social Impact,” the speakers discussed the dynamics of information in the digital era, where everyone can become a “reporter.” The overwhelming flow of information requires younger generations, particularly Gen Z, to possess strong digital literacy skills.

Rian Fahardhi emphasized the importance of being critical in filtering information. “Educate yourself and the people around you. Do not simply believe everything that goes viral; conduct research and verify the truth of every piece of information you receive,” he said.

The discussion highlighted that creativity must go hand in hand with social responsibility, particularly in preventing the spread of misinformation in digital spaces.

Through the organization of iNews Campus Connect, Untar and iNews Media Group reaffirmed their commitment to providing an educational platform that connects students with industry practitioners, particularly on issues related to digital literacy, creativity, and information ethics.
