Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar), through Untar Career, organized Untar Career Week 2026 under the theme “Bridging Education and Industry: Preparing Untar Fresh Graduates to Be Career-Ready and Ready to Grow” from 2–6 February 2026 at the Auditorium of Building M, Campus I. The event was attended by active students from various study programs as well as Untar alumni.

Untar Career is a service center under the Student Affairs and Alumni Office (Lemawa) of Universitas Tarumanagara that provides information related to campus hiring, job fairs, seminars, workshops, company visits, job vacancies, and career development services for students and alumni. This year’s Career Week featured a series of activities including talk shows with industry practitioners, career seminars and consultations, CV training and reviews, recruitment ethics talk shows, as well as job interview training and simulations.

One of the featured programs during Untar Career Week 2026 was a workshop on creating effective Curriculum Vitae (CV), featuring Iqbal Saputra from BossAi Indonesia as the speaker. During the session, he shared practical insights on how to create professional CVs that attract recruiters’ attention and remain relevant to current industry demands.

He first explained the basic concepts of CV writing that are still not widely understood by students, emphasizing the importance of presenting experiences, skills, and achievements in a structured manner so they can be easily reviewed by recruitment teams. Participants were also introduced to common mistakes in CV writing and ways to avoid them in order to become more competitive in the job market.

“A CV is not simply about including as much information as possible from your work or organizational experiences. It is about how the information in your CV aligns with the position you are applying for, making it appealing for recruiters to notice,” Iqbal explained.

The workshop also served as an interactive space where participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and receive direct feedback regarding their CVs.

Overall, Untar Career Week 2026 is expected to become an effective bridge between education and industry while equipping students and fresh graduates with the skills needed to enter the professional workforce. (KS/YS)
