The Tarumanagara University Choir (PSUT) successfully held its annual concert titled Volare with the theme Embrace the Journey on Saturday (July 12, 2025) at Graha Swara, Tarumanagara University Campus I. The event attracted enthusiastic attendance from 331 viewers from various backgrounds, ranging from the academic community to the general public.

The word Volare, which means “to fly” in Italian, was chosen to represent the deep meaning of process, growth, and the spirit to keep moving forward. The theme Embrace the Journey served as the common thread throughout the performances, illustrating how the members of PSUT celebrate their journey through harmony and musicality.

As an annual concert, Volare continues PSUT’s long-standing tradition of presenting their best vocal works and reaffirms its existence as an active and inspiring artistic community. Each performance was delivered with deep expression, highlighting vocal techniques honed through intensive preparation and close collaboration among members.

“My hope for the future is that PSUT can perform in front of larger audiences and have the opportunity to participate in various competitions at both national and international levels,” said Trisha Margaretha, Chairperson of the PSUT 2025 Concert.

The audience’s enthusiasm was clearly evident throughout the concert. A solemn yet festive atmosphere blended in every performance, making Volare a tangible expression of PSUT’s dedication to choral arts as well as the development of student character through arts and cultural activities. Through this concert, PSUT reaffirmed its commitment to continue creating and inspiring, using music as a medium for reflection, expression, and transformation for the younger generation.
