Tarumanagara University (Untar), in collaboration with the Tarumanagara Foundation, has officially launched Untar Residence (URES), a new housing facility specifically designed for students from various regions in Indonesia as well as from abroad. The inauguration took place at Untar’s Campus II in West Jakarta.
As a modern dormitory, URES is part of Untar’s commitment to providing a comfortable, safe, and inclusive learning environment that supports diversity. The facility is equipped with study rooms, communal areas, a 24-hour security system, and a strategic location close to the campus’s academic centers.
“The development of URES is a tangible expression of our support for the holistic development of students. We are not only providing a place to live but also a space for cross-cultural interaction that enriches the academic experience,” said Untar Rector, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M.

The presence of URES also strengthens Untar’s strategy for the internationalization of education. By providing a representative and supportive housing environment for international students, Untar fosters the creation of an adaptive and collaborative global learning atmosphere—aligned with its vision of becoming a world-class university.
