Tarumanagara Arena II, located in Campus II Untar, was officially opened on Thursday (9/11). The inauguration was conducted by the Chairman of Tarumanagara Foundation Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. together with the Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng.

The Rector said that the inauguration of Tarumanagara Arena II is a form of Untar and Tarumanagara Foundation’s commitment in supporting students’ mental health.

Currently, Untar has various facilities to support students’ mental health such as Psychology Guidance and Consultation Center (PBKP) that helps counseling, and facilities that can support health and physical fitness such as Tarumanagara Arena and Fitness Center.

“Hopefully, this facility can be one of the solutions that can be utilized by students in dealing with pressures that affect mental health,” said Rector.

Chairman of Tarumanagara Foundation Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H expressed his appreciation to all parties who have supported the construction of Tarumanagara Arena II.

Ariawan said that Tarumanagara Foundation is committed to continue developing facilities in Untar as a means of supporting students.

Also attending the event were the board of administrators and trustees of Tarumanagara Foundation, heads of institutions, heads of offices, deans, representatives of Student Activity Units, lecturers, and students of Untar. (DH/AW)
