Dr. Maitri Widya Mutiara, S.Ds., M.M.

An academic and practitioner from the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design at Untar, she specializes in interior design with an integration of management principles. She began her career in the interior design industry in 2008 as a Project Marketer and freelance interior designer, while also teaching in the Interior Design Program at Untar. Since 2014, Maitri has strategically developed an Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based curriculum and strengthened industry networks through a pentahelix approach to create a creative ecosystem with global impact. At the national level, Maitri serves as Vice Chairperson for Education and Training at ASMINDO, where she actively conducts research on sustainable furniture design and supports creative SMEs in the Cirebon and Jepara regions. To date, Maitri Widya Mutiara has produced over ten design products that have been marketed both nationally and internationally through various industry exhibitions.
