Works as a journalist, researcher and lecturer, his journalist experience began as a daily reporter for Kedaulatan Rakyat, Yogyakarta, while doing his undergraduate studies in 1984. Then he continued as Business Editor for Warta Ekonomi Magazine and ended as Editor in Chief of Pilar Bisnis Magazine. Dr. Sawidji received his research experience after he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1987. He became a Junior Researcher at the Center for Policy Studies (CPS), an Economic studies institute led by Prof. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo. Then, he worked as an investment analyst in Erdika Securities and is currently an Expert Pool GTZ and CEO of ECBIS Rescons (Economic-Business Research & Consulting Service). Dr. Sawidji has been a lecturer in the Bachelor of Management Program and Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Economics and Business Untar since 1991. Specializing in Finance Investment, he has written 25 best-seller books and thousands of articles in various media.
