The Undergraduate Electrical Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) has received an Excellent accreditation rating from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Engineering Study Programs (LAM Teknik). The accreditation is valid from August 21, 2026, to August 20, 2029.

The Excellent accreditation was awarded after the FT Untar Electrical Engineering Study Program underwent an assessment process covering various aspects of educational delivery. The evaluation included the curriculum, faculty quality, research, facilities and infrastructure, as well as graduate outcomes.

Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. expressed his appreciation for the achievement, which he described as the result of the academic community’s efforts to maintain educational quality.

“This accreditation is the result of the hard work of the entire FT Untar academic community. We will continue to strengthen the quality standards of education, research, and innovation so that Untar Electrical Engineering graduates can compete professionally, uphold integrity, and possess global competitiveness,” he said.

Head of the Undergraduate Electrical Engineering Study Program at FT Untar Dr. Ir. Joni Fat, S.T., M.E., M.T. said the achievement is part of the study program’s efforts to develop education that remains relevant to industrial developments.

According to Joni, the Electrical Engineering program at Untar focuses its educational development on sustainable industrial innovation while equipping students with professionalism and an entrepreneurial spirit.

“This Excellent accreditation achievement demonstrates our commitment to maintaining and continuously improving the quality of education,” he said.

The FT Untar Electrical Engineering Study Program will continue to develop learning, research, and innovation in line with technological developments and industry needs. These efforts are expected to equip graduates with the ability to adapt to change while contributing to society. (VC/YS)
