Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) welcomed a delegation from Universitas Langlangbuana, Bandung, West Java, for a benchmarking visit related to the establishment of a Doctoral Program in Management on Monday (22/06/2026) at Campus I of Untar.
The visit served as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in managing doctoral programs, particularly Untar’s Doctoral Program in Management Science (DIM), which has grown significantly and produced graduates from diverse professional backgrounds.
In her remarks, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, emphasized that both universities share the same mission: educating future generations and making meaningful contributions to the nation and the world. “We learn together to achieve our common goal, which is to educate future generations and make meaningful contributions to Indonesia and the world,” she said.
The event continued with a presentation on various aspects of the implementation of Untar’s Doctoral Program in Management Science, including its learning process, academic schedules, and program management system. The session also highlighted Untar’s core values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship, which serve as the foundation for its education, research, and community service activities.
On the occasion, Vice Rector I of Universitas Langlangbuana, Prof. Hj. Heni Husniah, M.T., expressed her appreciation for the warm welcome and the valuable insights shared by Untar. “The information shared today will serve as an important reference for Universitas Langlangbuana in preparing for the establishment and management of our Doctoral Program in Management in the future,” she stated.
The visit concluded with the exchange of commemorative plaques as a symbol of appreciation and institutional partnership between Untar and Universitas Langlangbuana, reaffirming both institutions’ commitment to continued collaboration in advancing higher education in Indonesia.
Also present from Universitas Langlangbuana were Director of Postgraduate Studies Prof. Dr. Hj. Euis Eka Pramiarasi, Dra., M.Pd., and Head of the Master of Management Program Prof. Dr. Nita Kanya, along with members of the faculty leadership and academic staff. Representing Untar were Heads of Institutes and Heads of Offices from across the university. (CS/YS)
