Students of the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) explored various applications of artificial intelligence (AI) through the AMD Tech Gen event held on the 11th floor of Building R at Untar on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

The event featured seminars and hands-on sessions that allowed participants to directly experience several AI technologies currently used to support productivity, creativity, data processing, and academic activities.

Through the Experience Zone, students gained insights into the use of AI for visual content creation, image processing, idea generation, and information management. Participants were also introduced to how AI technologies can be integrated into computing devices to support a wide range of user needs.

In addition to trying the technologies firsthand, students attended demonstrations showcasing the application of AI in various scenarios, ranging from learning activities to the development of creative projects. The event also provided valuable insights into technological advancements that are increasingly relevant to the needs of both education and industry.

The AMD Tech Gen event served as a platform for students to understand AI development not only from a theoretical perspective but also through its practical applications in everyday life. Through this experience, students are expected to become better prepared to navigate ongoing technological developments and their impact on various professions in the future. (KS/YS)
