The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Information Technology (BEM FTI) at Untar held “FTI Comp 2026” as a competition event aimed at strengthening solidarity among the FTI academic community. The event took place over three days, from April 27–28, 2026, at Untar Campus I.
Carrying the theme “FTI Competition 2026: Raising Our Champions Together,” the event featured various competitions in both physical sports and e-sports categories. The physical sports competitions included basketball, badminton, and table tennis. Meanwhile, the e-sports competitions featured Mobile Legends, FIFA, and chess. For the Mobile Legends tournament, BEM FTI collaborated with Alter Ego ML.
Chairperson of FTI Comp 2026, Jonathan Patrick (2024), expressed appreciation for the participation of all attendees, which included active students, lecturers, and staff members of FTI Untar. He hoped that the event would strengthen the sense of family within the faculty environment. “Through this activity, we hope to strengthen togetherness among all members of the FTI Untar academic community,” he stated.
Dean of FTI Untar, Prof. Lina, S.T., M.Kom., Ph.D., also expressed appreciation for BEM FTI’s initiative in organizing an inclusive activity involving all elements of the faculty.
The event was also attended by Untar Student President Renaldy Pramudya, as well as FTI lecturer Darius Andana Haris, S.Kom., M.TI. The event was officially opened through a gong-striking ceremony led by the Dean of FTI Untar as a symbol marking the beginning of the competition series. (VC/YS)
