The Tarumanagara Management Student Association (IMMANTA) organized a Company Visit to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Friday (13/3). The visit marked the first part of the Company Visit series titled ROYAL: Ready to Observe and Yield Ambitions into Leadership, which aims to provide students with direct insight into the capital market industry and the role of the IDX in the national economy.

In his remarks, Head of the Company Visit Committee, Verdyanto, expressed hope that the activity would serve as a learning opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the financial industry, particularly the capital market. He also emphasized the importance of hands-on experience in helping students understand real practices in the professional world.

During the visit to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, participants attended an educational session on the capital market delivered by Adjie Bagoes Hermanto from the IDX Market Development Division. In his presentation, Adjie explained the role of the capital market as a source of funding for companies as well as an investment alternative for the public.

Adjie stated that capital market literacy among younger generations, especially university students, is essential to encourage the growth of domestic investors. He also encouraged students to start learning about investment early by understanding the associated risks and appropriate strategies.

Through the Company Visit program, IMMANTA hopes that Management students at Universitas Tarumanagara will broaden their perspectives, gain a direct understanding of industry practices, and develop an interest in pursuing careers or investments in the capital market industry. (VH/YS)
