The holy month of Ramadan has arrived and is welcomed with joy by Muslims around the world. Fasting is not merely about refraining from food and drink, but also an opportunity to strengthen integrity, discipline, and self-awareness. Observing the fast challenges individuals to remain honest with themselves while building self-control, which serves as an important foundation in both academic and professional life.

More than that, Ramadhan nurtures the spirit of togetherness and compassion. On campus, students, lecturers, and educational staff collaborate in various activities, ranging from academic and non-academic programs to social initiatives and community service activities. This spirit of collaboration and mutual support strengthens relationships while fostering empathy, which lies at the heart of academic community life.

Through various positive collaborative activities across different sectors, Ramadhan also becomes a means of strengthening social bonds, expanding networks, and spreading kindness. Every interaction creates a positive impact not only within the campus community, but also on the society surrounding Universitas Tarumanagara.

Let us make the most of this blessed month by strengthening unity, supporting one another, and sharing kindness so that the spirit of Ramadhan brings warmth to the entire academic community and meaningful impact to society.

Welcome, Ramadhan. Wishing you a blessed fasting month. (YS)
