Universitas Tarumanagara served as both host and collaborative partner of the Regional Higher Education Services Institute (LLDikti Wilayah III) in organizing a Public Relations Workshop under the Kampus Bicara program, held on Tuesday (2/12/2025) at the Auditorium of Campus I Universitas Tarumanagara.

The event, titled “Workshop on Improving the Quality of Press Releases for LLDIKTI Region III,” was attended by public relations representatives from private universities (PTS) within West Jakarta Region III.

Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., in his remarks stated that higher education achievements are not only measured by the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, but also by the ability to communicate various activities and contributions to the public through accurate information.

“Maintaining the reputation of higher education institutions in the rapidly evolving digital era requires university public relations to deliver information properly. Publication is not only about speed, but also about accuracy and ethical communication,” he said.

In line with the Rector’s statement, LLDikti Region III, represented by the Head of General Affairs Division, Tri Munanto, S.E., M.Ak., explained several key points in the implementation of the Kampus Bicara program in accordance with the duties and functions of LLDikti as stipulated in Ministerial Regulation Number 35 of 2021.

“Facilitating higher education institutions in the field of public relations is a strategic role in building institutional image and reputation. The program implemented today by LLDikti is one manifestation of that role,” he stated.

He further explained that the Kampus Bicara program supports Diktisaintek Berdampak, which reflects university success in performance, achievements, and contributions through accurate and positive publications. The program is also designed to improve quality through publications and press releases produced by stakeholders, including higher education institutions.

The session included discussion and training featuring Antara News Editor Indriani, S.T., M.Si., External Public Relations Manager of Universitas Tarumanagara Dr. Yugih Setyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., and was moderated by Fikom Universitas Tarumanagara lecturer Diah Ayu Candraningrum, S.T., M.B.A., M.Si.
