After the CreatorVerse: Create with Impact session that opened the first day of iNews Campus Connect (ICC) 2025, the program continued with its second session titled “MONEYFESTASI” on Wednesday (26/11/2025) at the Main Building Auditorium, Campus I Untar. The session offered a different perspective, focusing on financial literacy, investment strategies, and business opportunities amid the dynamics of the modern economy.
Moderated by Fajar Wayong, MONEYFESTASI featured speakers from the financial and entrepreneurship sectors, namely CEO & Founder of MP Store Abdul Muidz; Senior Analyst at Mirae Asset M. Nafan Aji Gusta; Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Tarumanagara Prof. Dr. Sawidji Widoatmodjo, S.E., M.M., M.B.A.; CEO of Solid Group George Santos; and President Director of Askrindo M. Fankar Umran, who recently earned his Doctoral degree in Management Science from Universitas Tarumanagara.
The speakers discussed the rapidly evolving financial landscape, including youth investment behavior, digital business opportunities, and the urgency of building financial literacy from an early age. In the discussion, they emphasized that young people should not only follow economic trends but also understand risks, strategies, and sound decision-making foundations.
As an academic, Prof. Sawidji highlighted the importance of students understanding market behavior and global economic trends to avoid impulsive investment decisions. Meanwhile, Abdul Muidz encouraged young people to pursue entrepreneurship with a growth-oriented, adaptive, and long-term mindset.
Nafan Aji Gusta provided an analyst’s perspective on future capital market opportunities, while George Santos emphasized the importance of financial discipline in building sustainable businesses. Fankar Umran also shared reflections from his experience leading a major company, while underscoring the role of risk mitigation and financial education for society.
The MONEYFESTASI session was warmly received by students who filled the auditorium. The interactive discussion and Q&A session ran dynamically, reflecting the strong interest of the younger generation in financial issues, entrepreneurship, and modern investment.
Through the first-day ICC 2025 sessions—both CreatorVerse and MONEYFESTASI—Universitas Tarumanagara and iNews Media Group reaffirmed their commitment to providing a learning space that is relevant, inspiring, and impactful for students in understanding the challenges of today’s digital and economic landscape.
