The Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) inaugurated 31 new graduates through the 39th New Psychologists Inauguration Senate Session, held on Tuesday (11/11/2025) at the Auditorium of Campus I Untar.
In the academic report delivered by the Dean of FPsi Untar, Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, it was stated that this inauguration consisted of 10 graduates from the Master of Psychology Program and 21 graduates from the Professional Psychology Program. She added that all graduates had completed a rigorous educational process and various examinations that prepared them to become professional psychologists ready to contribute to society.
The Dean of FPsi Untar emphasized that Untar Psychology graduates are optimally prepared through the implementation of the values of Entrepreneurship, Professionalism, Integrity, and Caring (EPIC), which serve as the faculty’s core vision.
The inauguration ceremony was led directly by Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, accompanied by the Head of the Master of Science in Psychology Program, Dr. P. Tommy Y. S. Suyasa, M.Si., Psikolog, and the Program Secretary, Debora Basaria, M.Psi., Psikolog.
Also in attendance was the Chair of the Indonesian Psychological Association (Himpsi) Central Board, Dr. Andik Matulessy, M.Si., Psikolog, who conveyed congratulations and hopes to the graduates. In his remarks, he stated that this cohort holds a special distinction as the last generation to undertake the macro program, which combines the Master of Psychology and Professional Psychology stages simultaneously.
In addition, community representative Dandi Danu Brata, S.E., M.H., shared his remarks and impressions. He also opened opportunities for collaboration with FPsi Untar in Community Service (PkM) activities and educational programs at LPKA.
“We warmly welcome psychologists and Psychology students from Untar to conduct Community Service activities or open-school programs at LPKA I Tangerang,” said Dandi, who serves as Head of the Development Division at the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) I Tangerang.
The highest Grade Point Average (GPA) in the Master of Psychology Program was achieved by Rina Elfira, M.Psi., Psikolog, from the Industrial and Organizational Psychology field.
Meanwhile, the highest GPA in the Professional Psychology Education Program was earned by Mariana, M.Psi., Psikolog.
The inauguration marked an important milestone for the Faculty of Psychology of Untar in producing professional psychologists ready to actively contribute to society in line with the noble values of EPIC. During the inauguration ceremony, graduates recited pledges according to their respective religions recognized in Indonesia, followed by a joint prayer led by religious leaders. (VC/YS)
