Community Service Reflects Gratitude for Untar’s 66th Anniversary

As part of its 66th Anniversary celebration, Untar marked the occasion by giving back to the surrounding community. Through a community service program, Untar distributed basic food packages to residents of Tomang Urban Village at Campus I Untar, Jakarta, on Friday (19/09/2025). The initiative also reflected Untar’s commitment to continuously creating a positive impact on the surrounding community.

The Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., stated that the social initiative was an expression of gratitude as well as a reflection of the university’s ongoing commitment to contributing positively to society. “Untar must never stop spreading kindness. Moving forward, we must continue to provide meaningful benefits for the community,” he said.

The Secretary of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board, Vedrych J. Kusnanto, S.Kom., M.M., added that Untar serves not only as an educational institution but also as a community space that delivers tangible benefits to society.

The Head of Tomang Urban Village, Mansur, S.E., M.Ak., expressed his appreciation for Untar’s initiative, noting that it further strengthened the positive relationship between the university and the local community. “It is hoped that Untar’s expression of gratitude will bring benefits not only to its academic community but also to the surrounding residents,” he said.

Through this activity, Untar reaffirmed that its 66-year journey is not solely about producing educated generations but also about fostering social awareness and contributing to the well-being of the wider community. (VC/YS)
