The Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) at Tarumanagara University (Untar) once again held its annual graduation ceremony (yudisium) to celebrate students who have completed their studies and earned a Bachelor of Psychology (S.Psi.) degree. This special event not only marked their graduation but also delivered inspirational messages about opportunities in the professional world.
The graduation ceremony was held on Thursday (16/01/2025) at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I. Hundreds of graduates from the classes of 2019 to 2021 attended the event. The participants officially received their Bachelor of Psychology (S.Psi.) degrees after completing a series of exams and academic assignments during their studies. In addition to the graduates, the event was also attended by the academic community of FPsi Untar, including professors, staff, and employees.

In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Untar, who also serves as the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psychologist, encouraged the graduates to not only pursue careers in the workforce but also to venture into entrepreneurship. “You can start your own business by opening a psychology consulting firm. This is a great opportunity for growth while also providing broader benefits to society,” she said.
In addition to motivating the graduates to pursue entrepreneurship, Sri Tiatri also appreciated their hard work in completing their education. “The participants have worked hard to earn this degree. Don’t forget to be grateful to yourselves for this achievement and all the challenges you have overcome,” she added.
The graduation ceremony became even more special with a message from Sherly Amanda, one of the graduates from FPsi Untar. Sherly expressed her gratitude for the experiences gained during her studies. “The Psychology Program at Untar provided exceptional support that made us feel prepared to face the professional world. All the facilities and guidance provided were invaluable to us,” she said.
This graduation ceremony marks an important milestone for the graduates, signifying the end of their academic journey and the beginning of their contribution as innovative psychologists ready to make an impact. (VC/AJ/YS/VC)
