The Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD) Untar held the 2024 Indonesian Agents of Change (API) Festival. The event, themed “The Movers”, was opened on Thursday (28/11/2024) at the Untar campus auditorium.
The API Festival was organized in collaboration with the INTI Association, Grafisosial, and the FSRD of Trisakti University, Mercu Buana University, and Esa Unggul University. The event aimed to honor individuals and groups who have made tangible contributions in revitalizing the values of Pancasila in the fields of culture, education, and community empowerment.
This event included a photography and video reels competition, a talk show, and an exhibition. As a national event, the competition successfully attracted 111 works from students across Indonesia, consisting of 92 photography entries and 19 video reels. The best works were announced during the closing event.
The talk show event, themed “The Pancasila Snakes and Ladders Across Indonesia,” featured speakers including the Dean of FSRD Untar Kurnia Setiawan, Yosua Julianto and FA Agus Wahyudi (FKUB Banyumas), Director of Bereaksi Pelajar Natalina, Secretary General of the INTI Association Candra Jap, and Aryo Narutomo S (SMA St. Theresia). The discussion was moderated by Isra Mirani from Swara Indonesia Cemerlang.
As the closing event, a photo and video reels exhibition was held, showcasing the implementation of Pancasila values in daily life through visuals. The “The Movers” exhibition took place from November 28 to December 13, 2024, displaying 15 of the best photography and video reels works, along with 13 collaborative posters.
The 2024 API Festival, now entering its sixth year, successfully involved 32 institutions and networking organizations. With the spirit of mutual cooperation, this event is expected to continue inspiring the community to become agents of change that promote harmony and justice in Indonesia.
Through its series of activities, the 2024 API Festival is expected to motivate the community to become movers of change who continue to revitalize the values of Pancasila, in order to create a more harmonious, just Indonesia, ready to face future challenges. (WA/YS/WA)
