The Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., reaffirmed Untar’s commitment to supporting the government in providing the best healthcare services to the community, particularly in ensuring equitable healthcare facilities across various regions. He conveyed this message during the inauguration of the 143rd batch of doctors and the 85th graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Untar, held on Tuesday (19/11) at the Auditorium of Untar’s Campus I.
He also encouraged the newly appointed doctors to serve with heart, empathy, and ethics. As reported by the Dean of FK, Dr. dr. Noer Saelan Tadjudin, Sp.KJ., a total of 28 new doctors were officially inaugurated, all of whom achieved satisfactory results. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., and the Chairperson of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) Jakarta Barat, Dr. dr. Cecilia R. Padang, Ph.D., FACR.
Ariawan Gunadi urged the graduates to continue pursuing their dreams and fulfilling their vision and mission to bring about positive change in the future. Meanwhile, Cecilia R. Padang congratulated the new graduates and welcomed them into the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), hoping that these new doctors would uphold professionalism, integrity, and make a positive contribution to society. FK Untar, founded on October 1, 1965, has produced 5,084 doctors to date.
