Doc: Untar PR – VH

Program Studi Desain Interior Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) collaborated with PT Surya Pertiwi Tbk, the distributor of TOTO, to host the TOTO Design Competition themed “Define Your Imagination.” This competition aimed to encourage students to create innovative and creative 3D art installations utilizing TOTO’s premium products.
The winning artwork, “Veil of Imagination,” is an exceptional piece that seamlessly integrates natural elements with modern design, using sinks to depict a serene oasis that conveys a message of cleanliness and environmental harmony. The winning creation is on display at Untar’s Building P foyer from October 21 to November 5, 2024.
In addition to cash prizes, the competition provides a platform for students to showcase their talent, supporting their creative development. It aligns with Untar’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting quality education and sustainable innovation.
Anastasya, Social Media Coordinator for TOTO, highlighted the purpose of the collaboration: “We hope this partnership inspires students to express their boundless imagination through art installations.”
This initiative bridges academia and industry, offering students valuable opportunities to hone their design skills with sustainability and eco-friendliness as guiding principles. Moving forward, this collaboration is expected to grow through creative activities involving Untar FSRD students, fostering new opportunities for them to unleash their potential.
