The Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM) of Untar organized the Tarumanagara International Conference on the Applications of Social Science and Humanities (TICASH) and the Tarumanagara International Conference on the Applications of Technology and Engineering (TICATE) online via Zoom and Live Streaming on Untar Jakarta’s YouTube channel on Wednesday (October 23, 2024). TICASH and TICATE brought together professionals from various countries to share ideas and exchange knowledge in the fields of social science, humanities, technology, and engineering. These international conferences served as a platform for practitioners and students to collaborate in finding innovative solutions for a sustainable future through international discussions and presentations. By uniting diverse perspectives, the conferences aimed to inspire, share insights, and build partnerships that contribute to the latest advancements in various research fields.
Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., stated that these conferences were a form of Untar’s contribution to the world of education and aligned with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He also expressed gratitude to the speakers, participants, and organizers, and encouraged all participants to actively engage, share knowledge, and collaborate in positive change. “We hope that this collective effort will inspire us to contribute to the world with technological innovations that support environmental protection and help achieve global development goals,” said the Rector.
TICASH featured keynote speakers from the University of Canberra, Australia, Prof. Barney Dalgarno, INTI International University, Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Toong Hai Sam, and Dr. R. M. Gatot P. Soemartono, S.E., S.H., M.M., LLM. from Untar. Meanwhile, TICATE featured keynote speakers from Sunway University, Malaysia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniel Looi Ting Wee, and Dr. Ing. Agus Budi Dharmawan, S.Kom., M.T., M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Fermanto Lianto, M.T. from Untar. (DP/YS/KJ)
