Untar’s Professional Architecture Program has officially received its establishment permit from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). The Ministerial Decree was presented by Head of the Higher Education Service Institution Region III (LLDikti III), Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., to Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., on Thursday (19/9/2024) at the LLDikti III office.
In his remarks, the Head of LLDikti III reminded university leaders receiving the decree to uphold the responsibility entrusted to them by managing their study programs to the highest standards.
He also noted that LLDikti is currently encouraging higher education institutions to establish new academic programs, particularly at the master’s and doctoral levels, to support the development of Indonesia’s human resources.
The Untar Rector expressed his appreciation to the Head of LLDikti III for supporting the establishment process of Untar’s Professional Architecture Program. “We will carry out the responsibility entrusted to us to the best of our ability, including ensuring the continued growth and development of this study program in the future,” he said.
Also present at the ceremony were Untar Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H., Dean of Untar’s Faculty of Engineering Ir. Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and Head of the Undergraduate Architecture Study Program Maria Veronica Gandha, S.T., M.Arch.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ir. Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. expressed his hope that the new program would enhance the professionalism of Untar architecture students.
On the same occasion, seven additional decrees authorizing the establishment of new study programs at various higher education institutions within the LLDikti III region were also presented.
Untar currently offers 31 study programs across eight faculties, covering undergraduate, master’s, professional, and doctoral levels. With the addition of this new program, Untar further strengthens its commitment to providing higher education services that meet the needs of society and the professional world. (YS/KJ)
