The Faculty of Law (FH) Untar team achieved remarkable success by winning multiple awards at the International Public Law Moot Court Competition, Internation 2024. The competition was held on July 14, 20, and 21, 2024, at the Untar campus.

The moot court competition was designed to provide a platform for law students to develop and refine their skills in legal research, legal writing, and advocacy, while expanding their understanding of the principles and practices of international law. A total of 21 teams from universities across Indonesia participated in the competition.

Team 009 from Untar emerged as the Overall Champion of the competition. In addition, the team secured several prestigious awards, including Best Speaker Champion through Laura Kurniadi Hasan (205230175), Top 9 Best Speaker through Livia Aurellia Naftalie (205230105), Best Applicant Memorandum, Top 3 Best Overall Memorandum, and Top 3 Best Respondent Memorandum.

Internation 2024 consisted of several moot court sessions in which participants presented their arguments before a panel of judges, simulating real court proceedings. The competition featured preliminary rounds on July 14 and 20, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final round on July 21. Teams were evaluated based on legal reasoning, presentation skills, and adherence to the principles of public international law.

According to the organizing committee, Internation 2024 was designed to provide a dynamic and challenging environment for law students to demonstrate their legal capabilities and strengthen their practical skills. The competition not only enhanced participants’ academic knowledge but also prepared them to face real-world legal challenges.
