Lydiawati Soelaiman earned her Doctor of Management degree by defending her dissertation entitled “The Influence of Innovative Behavior, Academic Support, Learning Process and Self-Efficacy on Technopreneurship Intention of Generation Z Students Mediated by Entrepreneurial Culture at Universities in Jakarta and Bandung”, Monday (24/6) at Campus I Untar.
Lydiawati successfully defended her dissertation in an open examination in front of a team of examiners consisting of Session Chair Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., Main Promoter Prof. Dr. Ir. Dyah Erny Herwindiati, M.Si., Assistant Promoter Prof. Dr. Otto Randa Payangan, S.E., M.Si., Internal Examiner Prof. Ir. Carunia Mulya Firdausy, M.ADE, Ph.D., and External Examiner Prof. Dr. Christina Whidya Utami, M.M., CLC, CPM.
This research departs from Indonesia which will reach a demographic bonus in 2045 so that the existence of technopreneurship can optimize Indonesia’s demographic potential and prepare the country for a sustainable and prosperous future.
The results of the study stated that generation Z students still have doubts about engaging in technopreneurship activities. “The biggest contribution that affects technopreneurship intention is entrepreneurial culture. This emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurial culture mediation to measure entrepreneurial intention,” he said.
Chairman of the session as well as Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. declared Lydiawati Soelaiman as the 10th Doctor of Management Science of Untar. With a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 4.00, Lydia earned a cumlaude predicate.
Main Promoter Prof. Dr. Ir. Dyah Erny Herwindiati, M.Si. said that as a new doctor, she should always be enthusiastic in wandering in search of real knowledge. “This is the first step for researchers in real research. Always be healthy and successful,” she continued to conclude the open examination. (LA/YS/KJ)
