Doc: Untar PR – KJ

Untar received a visit from the delegation of Shanxi Provincial Education Work Committee at Campus I Untar, Monday (3/6).

The delegation consisted of Deputy Secretary Yang Jun and Director of Policy and Regulations Office Zhang Huaning.

Researcher of Shanxi Vocational University of Engineering Science and Technology Zhang Zhushe was also present.

Taiyuan University of Technology was represented by Vice President Xiao Liantuan, Deputy Director of Education Bureau Yin Jun, and Interpreter Li Zhi.

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. expressed his appreciation and enthusiasm for this visit.

“We are very pleased to receive a visit from the Shanxi delegation. We believe that by opening communication and exploring opportunities for cooperation, we can achieve many things that are beneficial to both institutions,” he concluded.

This visit is the first step in strengthening the relationship between the two parties with the hope of opening up opportunities for international cooperation in the future, especially in the field of education.

During the visit, both parties introduced their respective institutions and discussed about potential cooperation that can be established in the future.

Some of the cooperation opportunities discussed include visiting professor programs, joint research, international community service (PKM), and organizing joint conferences.

Hopefully, this initiative can enrich the academic experience and expand the international network for both institutions.
