Untar once again received an award for public relations performance at the Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2024 at Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center, Bali, Thursday (7/3).
Untar Public Relations Office obtained Silver Winner in the category of Digital Channel subcategory of Website and Bronze Winner in the category of Digital Channel subcategory of Instagram Social Media.
The awards were received directly by Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. together with Head of Untar Public Relations Office Dra. Paula T. Anggarina, M.M.
The award was also received by six other public and private universities, namely IPB University, Gadjah Mada University, University of Indonesia, North Sumatra University, Ahmad Dahlan University, and Aisyiyah University Yogyakarta.
In addition, for the Ministry category, the award was received by 13 ministerial institutions including the Ministry of Education and Research, Directorate General of Vocational Education, and Directorate General of Science and Technology.
Untar is the only private university in Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) III that received the award.
Paula said that this award adds to the achievements of Untar Public Relations and strengthens the digital communication media owned by Untar. It is Untar’s responsibility as a public body to deliver information to all stakeholders by utilizing various communication platforms that are developing today.
Paula specifically thanked the leadership of Untar for placing the Public Relations Office as an important and strategic part.
“Thank you to the team of Untar Public Relations for their dedication, creativity, and innovation in creating content and news aimed at providing quality information for all stakeholders,” said Paula.
The Rector revealed that this award is the result of the work of all Untar academicians supported by all partners in producing the performance of Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi and various reputation achievements to be conveyed to the public.
“Strong synergy between academic and non-academic performance by all academicians and publication by public relations can improve Untar’s reputation in the community,” concluded the Rector.
In his speech, Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia Asmono Wikan appreciated this year’s PRIA participants, especially those who have participated in this competition in the previous year.
According to Asmono, there was an increase in quality, and the innovations that emerged were increasingly relevant to the needs and targets.
“The winners we are looking for are those who are able to show fresh ideas and dare to take the initiative to be more innovative and creative,” said Asmono.
PRIA 2024 is an event organized by PR Indonesia. In this ninth year, there were 699 entries from 219 institutions from ministries, local governments, state-owned enterprises, regional-owned enterprises, corporations, and universities.
The achievements of the Untar Public Relations Office include Top 5 Private Universities with the Best and Most Productive Public Relations in LLDikti III in 2020, Universities with the Best Social Media Performance Report in 2021, Bronze Winner in the PRIA 2023 Social Media category, and three awards at once at the 2023 Diktiristek Public Relations Award, namely Gold Winner in the subcategory of Pages and Social Media, and Silver Winner for Untar Public Relations Dra. Paula T. Anggarina, M.M. in the Public Relations Personnel subcategory. (AW/PA/KJ)
