The 2024 Basic Skills Enhancement Instructional Techniques (PEKERTI) training program was closed offline at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I, Wednesday (7/2). PEKERTI is a collaboration between Untar and Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III and Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI).
For six days, participants consisting of Untar and UBSI lecturers received debriefing from several Untar lecturers who became instructors. This briefing is expected to improve the participants’ skills in teaching and making quality lesson plans.
“I hope PEKERTI is an opportunity for us to learn together, and the knowledge given is not in vain,” said Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. when closing the activity.
On that occasion, the Rector also encouraged the participants to establish relationships and build collaborations to produce quality works at the higher education level.
Jayanto, a lecturer of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD) Untar, admitted that he was happy to participate in this activity. According to him, PEKERTI increases knowledge and can improve performance as a lecturer.
Meanwhile, another participant Sri Watmah appreciated the instructors who had delivered the material well.
“After participating in this activity I will be more active in using learning media so that the classroom atmosphere is more lively and fun,” she said.
PEKERTI 2024 was attended by 43 participants who were lecturers from Untar and UBSI. (DN/AW/KJ)
