Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. was invited by the Yayasan Seni Budaya Jakarta which oversees the Institut Kesenian Jakarta (IKJ) to give a presentation related to Good Practices in the implementation of Tri Darma and Independent Campus Policy, Thursday (14/12).

This activity was held in conjunction with the Annual Work Meeting with the theme “IKJ Transformation towards Higher Education Excellence”.

On this occasion, Prof. Agustinus who was accompanied by Head of Untar Public Relations Office Dra. Paula T. Anggarina, M.M. introduced Untar with various performance achievements that have been successfully implemented at Untar.

The important thing conveyed on this occasion is that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) must build internal excellence that is integrated with the needs of stakeholders. HEIs must also be able to create strong internal excellence, not following other HEIs that may not be in accordance with the values that want to be built in their own HEI.

Prof. Agustinus also said that universities need to build an Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI-PPEPP), build IT systems for Tri Darma PT activities, involve all stakeholders (partners) and carry out External Quality Assurance.

In this activity, a question and answer session was also held to deepen the material that had been presented.

Chairman of Yayasan Seni Budaya Jakarta Prof. Dr. Ilza Mayuni, M.A. expressed her gratitude for the exposure of good practices from Untar and hoped to learn more in the management of PT to Untar in the future. (PA/API/KJ)
