Architecture Study Program of Faculty of Engineering Untar held “Public Intervention” Installation Exhibition at Campus I Untar. The event was officially opened on Thursday (28/11).
Featuring the works of first semester Architecture students, the exhibition is themed “Body, Sheath and Frame”. According to the basic idea, this installation is an architectural intervention that invites the public to interact with the installation.
Untar Architecture lecturer Agnatasya Listianti Mustaram, S.T., M.Sc. said that the Architecture program wants to convey the message that an intervention in our lives will more or less give different effects.
“Some interventions become a nuisance, while others become an attraction,” Agnatasya continued.
Agnatasya hopes that this exhibition can generate visual interest in the scope of architecture for the public.
One of the participating students, Untar Architecture student Raygen Latif, shared his impressions on the preparation process of the work titled “Sprouting Canopy” with two of his friends.
“I learned that in creating a work, strong cooperation is needed with all team members,” he said.
According to Raygen, this exhibition can provide design experiments, as well as provide the first exhibition experience for Architecture Study Program students.
The exhibition, which was held until December 8, 2023, was installed at 25 points spread across Campus I Untar. The materials used are plastic and wood recycled from other products. (DN/AW)
