Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. became a keynote speaker at INTI International University (INTI) Malaysia, Friday (29/9). The event was part of Untar’s series of visits to several Malaysian universities in order to strengthen Untar’s internationalization.

In front of INTI students, the Rector explained his presentation related to entrepreneurship and leadership. He said, entrepreneurship is a process of creativity and innovation in utilizing available resources.

“The goal is to provide benefits to oneself and society, and to excel in competition,” said the Rector.

The Rector argued that good entrepreneurship also needs to be supported by holistic leadership. Holistic leadership is strong leadership in realizing creativity and innovation.

“Holistic leadership is very suitable for complex modern environments, emphasizing systematic thinking and flexible adaptation,” explained the Rector.

In addition, holistic leadership also emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and creating networking within and outside the organization.

“Therefore, collaboration and networking, especially in the international world, are very important in this fast-paced digital era,” continued the Rector.

Head of Program of INTI International University specifically expressed his appreciation to Untar for the collaboration. He hoped that the collaboration with Untar could continue in various activities.

This activity is one of the collaborations conducted by Untar and INTI. On the same occasion, a number of Untar students underwent lectures at INTI as part of the student exchange program. This program was previously held in Jakarta on 4-9 September 2023. (AW/KJ)
