A delegation from HKBP Nommensen University (UHN) Medan visited Untar and was welcomed by Vice Rector I Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H. at Untar Campus 1, Thursday (30/8).
The visit was a follow-up to the visit of Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. to UHN in mid-June.
The Vice Rector said that Untar is open to visits from other institutions. Hopefully, both parties can build collaboration with each other.
Head of UHN Community Service Institute (LPM) Dr. Hendrik L. Simanjuntak, S.Sn., M.Sn. said UHN needs to learn about Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) and research and community service activities.
“We hope that the knowledge gained from Untar today can make us one step closer to becoming an Excellent accredited university,” said UHN SPMI Coordinator Dr. July Esther, S.H., M.H.
Head of Untar’s Quality Assurance and Resources Institute Ir. Gregorius Sandjaja, M.T. said that SPMI at Untar has been certified according to ISO 9001: 2015. Furthermore, Ir. Gregorius revealed that accreditation certification can support quality assurance, so it is important for an educational institution to have.
“The quality assurance system at Untar is always updated, the policy is also reviewed every 5 years,” added Ir. Gregorius.
In particular, Dr. Hendrik expressed his appreciation to Untar for welcoming him so well. He hopes that further collaboration between the two institutions can be done soon. (AW/AW)
