Untar Architecture Students held Architectural Design Week (ADW) 2023, which theme was “Room Acoustics” at Hublife Jakarta, Thursday (26/7).

The event was held by Bachelor of Architecture Study Program, in collaboration with Tarumanagara Architecture Student Association (IMARTA) and SKETSA Magazine, and was held for five days until 30 July 2023.

Head of Bachelor of Architecture Study Program Maria Veronica Gandha, S.T., M.Arch. in her opening remarks stated that ADW 2023 becomes the moment where ADW rises to be an off-campus exhibition.

Themed “Room Acoustics”, this ADW was aimed to provide knowledge regarding the use of sound in a room.

“This theme is used to increase the awareness of the importance to utilize sound around us well,” Head of ADW 2023 Committee, Louis, stated.

Head of IMARTA Dominikus believes this event could be used by Bachelor of Architecture Study Program to innovate, express, and show the achievement to the general public.

“Let’s use this moment as our legacy, a form of our expression, and let’s take the positive values of this day,” Leader of SKETSA Reynard said.

ADW is an annual event organized by Bachelor of Architecture Study Program. This year, the peak event which was held on Sunday (30/7) featured Architecture Band Arthur and Indonesian musician Idgitaf. (DW/YS/AW)
