Untar receives awards from Higher Education Service Institute Region III (LLDikti III), announced in the LLDikti III Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) Performance and Collaboration Appreciation event, Tuesday (30/5) at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta.
Untar receives awards in these categories:
• Entrepreneurship Reporting in MBKM
• Bela Negara (National Defence) Reporting in MBKM
• MBKM Indicator Performance Reporting in “Graduates Able to Obtain Relevant Jobs” category,
where Untar is appreciated as a private university which students able to obtain out-of-campus experience.
The award was given directly by the Head of LLDikti III Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, M.P. to Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, ASEAN Eng.
Besides Untar, several other universities were also awarded in this event.
In her welcoming speech, Paristiyanti conveyed her appreciation to universities under LLDikti III for the synergy and cooperation throughout the year. She asks universities to always create and innovate, in order to contribute for the betterment of Indonesian Higher Education.
On the same occasion, Institutional Director of Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Kemendikbudristek Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum., who serves as Acting Head of LLDikti III since 29 May 2023, also attended the event.
Lukman said that he will always support universities under LLDikti III to be “The Excellent and World Class University”. University leaders are encouraged to always be motivated in increasing the quality of human resource, along with infrastructures supporting Higher Education Tridarma.
Rector said his appreciation for LLDikti III, whom always contributes and in synergy for the development of higher education in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta region. Moreover, Untar has proven its role in producing quality human resources. This is seen from the amount of awards received by Untar regarding educational service quality improvement through MBKM program implementation.
According to him, Untar has been able to show a good performance in reaching higher education Key Performance Indicators (IKU). “This award shows Untar has managed to conduct various MBKM activities beneficial for students and lecturers. This result strengthens Untar as one of the best private universities in Indonesia,” said Rector.
One of the Untar Faculty of Economics and Business students, Fidelius Marlfel who has participated in internship programs in several Indonesian big companies, stated that her internship experience, which is an MBKM program, has given her the opportunity to directly involve in industrial practice, while also improve soft skill and hard skill needed in professional world.
“Furthermore, through MBKM, we could connect with more people. Currently, I am building a start-up loyalty program which about to be launched with my former partners,” said Fidelius.
MBKM Performance and Collaboration Appreciation event gives awards to institutions that have contributed in the establishment of Independent Learning vision. This award is expected to motivate all parties to keep collaborating and producing better performance, in creating independent and quality education.
This award completes the long list of awards received by Untar, which received six awards from LLDikti on previous March. (YS/AW)
