Tarumanagara Civil Student Association (IMASTA) held Civil National Expo (CNE) on Saturday (13/5) at the Auditorium of Untar Campus.

CNE is a civil engineering competition that is held regularly every year. The culminating program of IMASTA was attended by active students from various universities in Indonesia, including Universitas Indonesia (UI), Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar), and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

This year, four categories were contested, including Geotechnical Analysis, Transportation Analysis, Project Cost Estimation, and National Concrete Competition.

Furthermore, CNE itself is packed with various competitions in the field of civil engineering which are divided into 4 parts, namely, Geotechnical Analysis, Transportation Analysis, Project Cost Estimation, and National Concrete Competition.

In this competition, Untar won 2nd place in the Project Cost Estimation competition. Meanwhile, Sebelas Maret University won the National Concrete competition, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) won the Transportation Analysis competition, and Unpar won first place in the Geotechnical Analysis competition.

CNE Chief Executive Jenifer Fabiola said she was proud that CNE could be followed by dozens of universities from all over Indonesia. Jenifer hopes that the hard work of all committees can provide a good experience for participants, and make the study program, faculty, and university proud.

IMASTA is a student association under the Faculty of Engineering (FT). Every year, IMASTA organizes various academic and non-academic activities to channel students’ talents and interests. CNE is a collaboration event between civil students of Untar and civil students of other universities.
