The Industrial Engineering Student Association of Universitas Tarumanagara (IMADUTA) organized the Industrial Engineering Seminar and Competition (SLTI) 2026 at the Auditorium on the 12th Floor of Untar Campus II on Friday (08/05/2026). The annual event served as a platform for high school students from across Indonesia to develop their creativity, analytical abilities, and knowledge through a series of competitions and inspirational seminars.
SLTI 2026 featured two main competition categories: the Business Plan Competition and the Stacmath Competition. In the Business Plan Competition, participants were required to develop creative business proposals and present them online before a panel of judges. Meanwhile, the Stacmath Competition was conducted onsite over two days, challenging participants with industrial mathematics and statistics problems designed to strengthen their logical and analytical thinking skills.
In addition to the competitions, SLTI 2026 hosted a seminar featuring two external speakers who became major highlights of this year’s event. The first speaker, Leon Zheyoung, widely known as Guntur, shared insights into building effective business branding through creative and consistent use of social media.
The seminar also featured Vina Muliana, who discussed the importance of career readiness among young people through the development of soft skills, communication abilities, and adaptability in the future workplace.
Chair of the Organizing Committee for SLTI 2026, Jericho Rustandi, expressed hope that the event would provide valuable experiences and new knowledge for all participants.
“Through SLTI 2026, we hope that both competition participants and seminar attendees will gain new insights, enhance their skills, and become better prepared to face future challenges in education and their careers,” he said.
As one of IMADUTA Untar’s flagship annual programs, SLTI 2026 reflects the commitment of Untar’s Industrial Engineering students to organizing educational and inspiring activities that encourage young people to continuously develop their potential and pursue excellence. (KS/YS)
