Untar participated in the Executive Meeting Kick-Off of the BKKBN Corporate University on Tuesday (16/7/2024) at the Auditorium of Halim 1 Building, the Headquarters of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN).
The event was also marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Untar and BKKBN, establishing a framework for collaboration between the two institutions.
Head of BKKBN, Hasto Wardoyo, highlighted the significant number of researchers from Untar who are engaged in the fields of psychology and health sciences. He noted that this presents valuable opportunities for collaboration in efforts to prevent stunting.
“BKKBN possesses data that can be utilized for research and made available to Untar. Through such research, we hope to generate positive outcomes for society, particularly in efforts to prevent stunting among children,” he said.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., stated that the collaboration represents an implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma, particularly through research activities.
“This is a positive initiative to explore the potential of both BKKBN and Untar and to collaborate in improving public welfare,” he remarked.
Also attending the event were Head of the Untar Public Relations Office Dr. Dra. Paula Tjatoerwidya Anggarina, M.M., Dean of the Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., Psikolog, Ph.D., and Head of the Master of Science in Psychology Study Program Dr. P. Tommy Y. S.
