The Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) of Untar celebrated its 30th Anniversary with the theme “Harmony in Achievement, Working with Love.” The event was held at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I on Thursday (18/7/2024) and was attended by Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng.,

In her opening remarks, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., Psikolog, Ph.D., stated that the Faculty of Psychology aims to demonstrate synergy amid diversity in achieving various accomplishments while fostering a culture of working with love and mutual care.

“Diversity within the Faculty of Psychology is the primary strength that drives the creation of a dynamic and innovative working environment,” she emphasized.

The anniversary celebration featured a Scientific Oration delivered by Dr. Rostiana, S.Psi., M.Si., Psikolog, on the topic “Challenges and Opportunities for the Development of Psychology in the Digital Era.”

Rostiana highlighted how the widespread use of technology has transformed the way human behavior is studied and understood. She explained that technological advancements have significantly influenced approaches to learning about and interpreting human behavior, with substantial implications for psychological research.

She further noted that technological developments provide new opportunities for psychological research while also presenting unique challenges that psychology practitioners must address.

On the occasion, the Untar Rector expressed his appreciation and full support for the Faculty of Psychology, recognizing its various achievements and innovations that have generated positive impacts on society.

Through this series of events, the Faculty of Psychology reaffirmed its commitment to continuous innovation and meaningful contributions to society, supporting progress and development in the years ahead. (MS/YS/KJ)
