Through Untar Career under the auspices of the Student Affairs and Alumni Office (Lemawa), Untar held the Career & Internship Expo on May 25–26, 2026, at Untar Campus I. The event carried the theme “Empowering Future Leaders: Expanding Career Horizons and Professional Networks.”
In his opening remarks, Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. stated that the Career & Internship Expo not only provides opportunities for students and alumni to enter the professional world but also serves as a platform to enhance the quality and competitiveness of Untar graduates.
“Through this event, we aim not only to provide opportunities for alumni to enter the professional world, but also to improve the quality and competencies of every Untar graduate,” said the Rector of Untar.
Head of Lemawa Untar, Tri Sutrisno, S.Si., M.Sc., also expressed his appreciation to the companies and industry institutions participating in the event. According to him, the Career & Internship Expo serves as a platform for Untar students and alumni to secure employment opportunities and build professional networks.
“This event is not merely a recruitment fair, but also a means of personal development and motivation for both Untar students and alumni,” said Tri.
One of the participating companies, PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, expressed its enthusiasm for returning to the event for the third consecutive year. A company representative noted that the expo helps graduates gain access to career opportunities. Currently, more than 20 Untar alumni are employed at PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, with five of them holding strategic positions that work directly with the company’s board of directors.
The Career & Internship Expo 2026 was also complemented by an online curriculum vitae (CV) writing workshop held via Zoom on May 20, 2026. The program aimed to equip students and alumni with the skills and preparation needed to navigate professional recruitment processes successfully. (VS/YS)
