A delegation from the Ministry of Education of China visited Untar Jakarta on Monday (10/11/2025). The delegation was welcomed by Untar Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, along with members of the university leadership at the Untar Auditorium.
The delegation consisted of representatives from several leading universities in China. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for academic cooperation between Untar and Chinese universities.
The delegation spokesperson, Yu Faquan from Wuhan Institute of Technology, stated that Chinese higher education institutions are interested in establishing partnerships with Untar as part of efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries, particularly in education and culture.
“Educational exchange is not only a bridge for cooperation between countries, but also a means of strengthening relations among communities and encouraging mutual learning. Students play an important role in building cultural and intellectual connectivity,” he said.
Sri Tiatri expressed appreciation for the visit. She emphasized that the meeting represented an important opportunity for Untar to expand its international network and develop collaborations in academics, research, and student and lecturer exchange programs.
“Through this meeting, we can discuss and plan collaborations that will create positive impacts for Untar and educational institutions in China,” she stated.
Untar became one of the universities in Indonesia selected to be visited as a potential partner for the development of international cooperation.
Universities represented in the delegation included Nanjing Institute of Technology, Wuhan Institute of Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Zhengzhou University, Chengdu University of Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School.
