Untar hosted a benchmarking visit from Universitas Budi Luhur (UBL) on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Building M, Campus I Untar. This activity served as a platform for exchanging best practices and strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions to address the increasingly complex challenges of educational transformation.
Present at the event were the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., along with the university’s leadership, and the Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs of UBL, Prof. Dr. Ir. Arief Wibowo, M.Kom. Also accompanying them was a representative from LLDikti Region III’s Internal and External Quality Assurance System Working Team, Prima Satria, S.E.
In his address, Prof. Amad emphasized the importance of synergy in improving the quality of higher education institutions. “Benchmarking like this is very beneficial for both parties. We can learn from each other and strengthen the governance of universities, faculties, and even study programs. Good practices need to be shared for mutual progress in the world of education,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Prof. Arief expressed high appreciation for Untar’s openness in sharing its experience. “We believe there is much we can learn here. Hopefully, this collaboration will bring mutual benefits and growth for both institutions,” he said.
The discussion session featured presentations on Untar’s various excellent practices, including internationalization strategies, campus rankings, and international accreditation achievements such as IABEE, CPA, and AACSB. These presentations opened up opportunities for concrete collaboration in strengthening academic quality and university governance.
The event concluded with the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) as a symbol of the commitment to ongoing collaboration between Untar and UBL.

Through this visit, Untar once again affirmed its commitment as an institution open to collaboration and continuously contributing to the development of excellent, adaptive, and sustainable national higher education.
