The Tarumanagara University Center for Education and Training (Pusdiklat Untar) continues to demonstrate its commitment to equipping students and the academic community with practical skills through a training event titled “Level-up Your Look,” held on Wednesday (4/6/2025) at the M Building, Campus I of Untar. In collaboration with the renowned local beauty brand, Sariayu Martha Tilaar, this event provided direct learning on personal grooming, makeup, and etiquette for formal and professional environments.

This training features two expert instructors from Sariayu. Seli Noviansari delivered material on facial care, cosmetic ingredients to avoid, and body etiquette in formal situations like job interviews or campus meetings. Meanwhile, Marissa, a professional make-up artist, guided participants in practicing make-up techniques tailored to their individual face characteristics.
The Head of Untar’s Training Center, Dr. dr. Arlends Chris, M.Sc., opened the event by emphasizing the importance of such training for students. “We hope this activity isn’t just a fleeting experience, but provides long-term benefits in building participants’ self-confidence and professional appearance,” he stated.
The event was interactive, with high enthusiasm from participants, including students and lecturers from various faculties. Besides gaining theoretical knowledge, participants also had the opportunity to ask questions directly and practice the beauty and etiquette tips they learned.

Closing the event, Seli Noviansari expressed hope that the material shared could be applied in daily life. “May everything shared today, from facial care to social etiquette, become important provisions for everyone to appear more confident,” she said.
The event concluded with a joint photo session and the distribution of goodie bags from Sariayu as a token of appreciation for the participants’ involvement. Through this training, Untar reaffirmed its role not only in academic aspects but also in personality development, social skills, and readiness to face the professional world.
