The doctoral promotion session was led by Untar Rector, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., with an examination panel consisting of Prof. Dr. Mella Ismelina F.R., S.H., M.Hum., and Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. In her research, Sulasi Rongiyati examined the impact of Constitutional Court (MK) decisions on agrarian law, family law, and contract law. In the field of contract law, Sulasi Rongiyati highlighted the importance of clear procedures in resolving fiduciary disputes and protecting the rights of indigenous communities and vulnerable groups. Additionally, she emphasized the need for follow-up policies on Constitutional Court (MK) decisions to ensure legal certainty and justice for society.

“Evaluation of laws and regulations is essential to prevent hyper-regulation and overlap. The use of judicial orders can serve as a guideline for implementing Constitutional Court (MK) decisions, supported by studies from the Legislative Body (BK-DPR), the Secretariat General of the House of Representatives (DPR), and the National Law Development Agency (BPHN),” she explained during her doctoral promotion session.

With her newly earned doctoral degree, Sulasi Rongiyati becomes the 44th Doctor of Law from Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar). She achieved this distinction with highest honors, earning a perfect GPA of 4.00. This accomplishment further reinforces Untar’s reputation as a university that consistently produces high-quality graduates. (SV/AJ/YS/VC)
