The Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar), Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.M., expressed his hope that the Workshop and Coaching Clinic for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) would help students enhance the quality of their proposals to compete at the national level. “The goal of this PKM Workshop and Coaching Clinic is to produce outcomes that will improve the PKM proposals of Untar students in 2025,” he stated.

The event, held online via Zoom Meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, was organized by the Student Affairs and Alumni Institution (Lemawa) Untar. Attended by students from various faculties, including recipients of the odd semester 2024/2025 scholarships and participants of the MBKM program courses, the session lasted for three hours, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

According to Tri Sutrisno, S.Si., M.Sc., Head of Lemawa and Chief Organizer, the event aimed to equip students with insights and practical skills in drafting competitive PKM proposals for the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS). “Lemawa Untar is committed to providing maximum support so that students can make a positive contribution to society and the nation,” he stated.

In the material session, keynote speakers Prof. Suherman, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Prof. Akhmad Fauzy, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., who also serve as PIMNAS judges, provided guidance on effectively drafting PKM proposals. Prof. Suherman emphasized the importance of starting the proposal preparation as early as possible to achieve optimal results. Meanwhile, Prof. Akhmad outlined strategies for generating proposal ideas, such as reviewing previous winning projects, consulting with faculty advisors, and developing critical and creative thinking skills.

The experience-sharing session featured Dr. P. Tommy Y. S. Suyasa, M.Si., Psychologist, Head of the Professional Psychology Master’s Program at Untar, and Renata Verla Gunjaya, S.Psi., an Untar alumna whose proposal successfully secured funding from the Ministry. Both speakers provided tips and motivation for crafting PKM proposals, while also inspiring students to innovate and pursue excellence.

Through this Workshop and Coaching Clinic, Untar demonstrates its commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and student competence, enabling them to be competitive not only at the national level but also internationally. With expert guidance, interactive sessions, and practical strategies, Untar continues to support students in making meaningful contributions to society and the nation. (VA/YS/AJ/VA)
