Doc: Untar PR – DN

Department of Urban and Regional Planning (PWK), Faculty of Engineering Untar received a visit from Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Engineering Diponegoro University (Undip), Monday (6/5) at Building L, Campus I Untar.

Untar is one of the universities in Jakarta chosen by Undip to support the series of Field Work Lecture (KKL) program of Undip’s PWK.

In her opportunity as a resource person, PWK Untar lecturer Regina Suryadjaja, S.T., M.T. presented material on “Planning and Development of Coastal Areas” to the students and lecturers present.

She said that there are five Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to the development of coastal areas, namely SDG 7, SDG 8, SDG 9, SDG 11, and SDG 12.

“If it is called sustainability, it means that there is a relationship between the environment, social, and economy, and cannot be separated from the SDGs,” he explained.

The hope is that both parties can discuss and gain new knowledge, perspectives, program planning, and experiences that are relevant to the material presented.

The visit was attended by 61 students and 3 lecturers from Undip. (DN/AW/KJ)
