The Regional Board of the Indonesian Catholic Lecturers Association (IKDKI) of South Sulawesi held a webinar activity on Thursday (23/11).

Themed “Capable and Serving Higher Education Leadership”, this webinar aims to be a forum for sharing higher education management so that it can become one of the references for higher education managers to produce good performance.

Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. became one of the speakers at the event. He explained how university management strategies with good practices that have been implemented by Untar so far.

Referring to the provisions to obtain excellent accreditation, Prof. Agustinus emphasized the importance of paying attention to management related to lecturers’ qualifications, lecturers’ academic positions, curriculum, on-time graduates with good quality, suitability of graduates’ work fields, quality assurance systems, research, PKM and publications, as well as national and international cooperation in various fields. This needs to be a concern, especially to obtain National Accreditation and International Accreditation. Therefore, universities need to create a management system that is in accordance with the needs and advantages to be built, and must continue to pay attention to the implementation of national standards of higher education and can even exceed SN Dikti.
