The long academic journey of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) scholar, Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., has borne fruit. She was officially inaugurated as a professor after receiving the Decree (SK) of appointment from the Head of the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region III, Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., at the LLDIKTI III Office on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

The decree handover ceremony was witnessed directly by the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., and the Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psychologist. The presence of several university leaders highlighted the significance of this achievement, not only for Dr. Keni personally but also for strengthening Untar’s academic quality, particularly within the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB).

In his remarks, Henri Togar expressed his appreciation and hopes. “We encourage more universities under LLDIKTI Region III to produce professors,” he said.

Focus on Consumer Behavior

Keni, who currently serves as the Head of the Master of Management Program at Untar’s Postgraduate School, is known for her active research in the field of marketing management, particularly consumer behavior. She focuses on how shifts in public mindset and behavior influence companies’ marketing strategies.

“In the academic world, perseverance and commitment are what matter most. My hope is that this achievement can serve as both an inspiration and a motivation for fellow lecturers at Untar to continue their academic journey and reach the rank of professor,” said Keni.

The growing number of professors at FEB Untar reaffirms the faculty’s position as one of the centers for the development of management science in Indonesia. With this professorship, Keni not only enriches Untar’s academic landscape but also brings new energy to the higher education sector in Indonesia. (VC/YA)
