Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., along with the university’s delegation, held an audience with the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta on Wednesday (23/07/2025). The visit took place at the Office of the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) of DKI Jakarta and was warmly received by the Head of Kesbangpol, Muhammad Matsani, S.Sos., M.Si.

The audience aimed to strengthen ties and establish strategic communication between the university and the regional government. On this occasion, the Rector of Untar reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting Jakarta’s development, particularly in the areas of education, cultural preservation, and human resource development.

As a university located in the heart of the capital city, Untar consistently fosters synergy with the Jakarta Provincial Government. This commitment is reflected in various initiatives, such as Untar’s 84th Graduation Ceremony, which embraced Betawi cultural elements as a tribute to Jakarta’s local identity.

In addition to discussing the strengthening of institutional cooperation, the meeting also opened opportunities for internship programs for Untar students within the Jakarta Provincial Government. This initiative is expected to enhance students’ understanding of public service dynamics and increase the university’s contribution to strengthening bureaucratic capacity and governance.

This audience is expected to mark the beginning of various productive collaborations in the fields of education, culture, research, and youth empowerment in Jakarta. (VC/AJ)
