Untar’s Faculty of Engineering (FT) held the Final Semester Judicium for the Academic Year 2024–2025 on Thursday (17/7/2025) at the Auditorium, Building M, Untar Campus I. A total of 214 students from various study programs were officially inaugurated as graduates, ready to make a real contribution to society.

This judicium marks the completion of academic processes across all levels of education—from the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering, Master’s Programs in Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Regional and Urban Planning, to the Bachelor’s Programs in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Regional and Urban Planning (PWK).

The event opened with a speech from the Dean of Untar’s Faculty of Engineering, Ir. Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., who expressed pride in the graduates for their academic achievements.

“Your journey at Untar’s Faculty of Engineering has been a long process expected to bring positive impact both to yourselves and to society. Uphold the good name of the alma mater and continue learning even after becoming alumni,” the Dean advised.

The judicium ceremony was officially opened by Dr. Ir. Steven Darmawan, S.T., M.T., Head of the Learning and Academic Innovation Institute at Untar, who attended on behalf of the Rector. In his speech, he urged the graduates to uphold integrity, remain humble, and be courageous in facing challenges.

“Don’t be afraid to try. Even after graduating, we all must keep learning,” he said.

One inspiring moment came from Darren Edwad Sutisna, the top graduate who achieved the highest SKPI (Diploma Supplement) score of 1,400 points. During his studies, Darren was actively serving as the Chairman of Untar’s Faculty of Engineering Student Executive Board (BEM) and still graduated on time within eight semesters.

“Being the Chairman of BEM was a valuable experience that taught me to manage time and priorities. I hope my friends are not afraid to try new things, but always remember their academic responsibilities,” said Darren.

This judicium reaffirms Untar’s Faculty of Engineering commitment to producing graduates who are excellent, adaptive, and impactful—ready to meet the challenges of the workforce and actively contribute to community development.
