The Tarumanagara Foundation celebrated the highlight of its 66th Anniversary with a spirit of transformation, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration. The main event, held on Thursday (July 3, 2025), took place at the Tarumanagara Institute (ITARU) Convention Hall, marking the culmination of various activities that have been ongoing since April 2025.

Carrying the theme “66th Excellence and Beyond,” this celebration emphasizes the Tarumanagara Foundation’s commitment to delivering sustainable transformation—while also symbolizing over six decades of dedication in the fields of education, research, and community service. In his speech, the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., highlighted the importance of building a collaborative ecosystem that blends 90% internal strength with 10% artificial intelligence (AI) to bridge various potentials.

“Tarumanagara Foundation is a bridge builder, a connector that links various potentials that were previously difficult to unite. This is the spirit of transformation that we aim to build,” said Prof. Ariawan.

The Rector of Tarumanagara University, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., was also present and extended his congratulations.

“May the Tarumanagara Foundation continue to grow, be able to encourage all the business units under its wing to thrive sustainably, and make a real contribution to society,” he said.

The main event was also attended by leaders and representatives from the entire ecosystem of the Tarumanagara Foundation: ITARU, PT Tarutama Bhakti Utama (TBU), RS Royal Taruma, Taruma Xinya College, PT Taruma Bhakti Medika, Tarumanagara Enterprise, and Untar Residence.

Also present were the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Ir. Nanda Widya; the Acting Head of LLDIKTI Region III DKI Jakarta, Tri Munanto, S.E., M.Ak.; as well as representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection.

Founded in 1959, the Tarumanagara Foundation has continuously developed an innovative, adaptive, and impactful educational ecosystem. Various sustainable initiatives have been carried out to support the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity, including:

  • The construction and inauguration of Untar Residence (URES) – providing holistic residential facilities that support the comfort and quality of life for students.

  • Youth Investment: Beyond Profit Toward Purpose – A Capital Market Investment Seminar (SIPM) that encourages the younger generation to become smart investors with a purpose-driven mindset.

  • Tarumanagara Fair – a career development and job search event that connects students with the industry, in line with the spirit of IPE: Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship.

  • The Mandarin News Anchor Competition – a collaboration with Xinya College, instilling empathy, cross-cultural understanding, and journalism skills in Mandarin.

  • Batik Workshop with Friends with Disabilities – a true manifestation of inclusivity by providing a learning and creative space without limits.

  • ITARU Fair – affordable quality healthcare services, including blood donation and social service activities, proving the contribution of higher education to society.

In this moment of celebration, the Tarumanagara Foundation and Untar also received the Prestasi Nusantara award through a program titled “Batik by People with Disabilities, Academic Community, and Society.” This program was organized by the Tarumanagara Foundation and carried out within the Untar community as a tangible expression of commitment to inclusivity, cultural preservation, and the empowerment of cross-sectional communities.

  • The Industry Knowledge Centre at the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Untar.

  • The Epic Design Space at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD) Untar.

The collaboration with FSRD Untar also enriched the visual design of the event. The celebration became even more vibrant with artistic performances, such as the University of Tarumanagara Choir (PSUT) performing the song “Keraban Sape,” traditional dances from Xinya College, and modern dance by the Citra Pesona Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Untar.
